# Work offline with a preloaded work order

You can start and pause a previously loaded job while offline. When the connection returns, the record still needs to reach the server. Have the office check that time and status were actually received.

You can start and pause a previously loaded job while offline. When the connection returns, the record still needs to reach the server. Have the office check that time and status were actually received.

## Before you begin

For employees working at sites with limited reception. Open the intended job while connected before going offline.

## Steps to follow

Use time recording on the preloaded job. Keep using that same job; a locally saved change is not yet server confirmation.

Reopen the app once connected. Allow recovery and check the job before moving on to administrative completion.

## Check the result

Ask the office to check received time blocks and status. If unsure, keep local data and contact the administrator.

## What to distinguish

Do not sign out or clear browser or app data until receipt is confirmed. This does not promise fully offline operation for new requests, every screen or every action.

## Takeaway

Ask the office to check received time blocks and status. If unsure, keep local data and contact the administrator.
