Built from hands-on experience in cleaning.
JobLog24 comes from first-hand experience in the cleaning industry. We build software around a conviction: people working on site deserve useful information, trust and the freedom to practise their craft.
Who we are
From running cleaning businesses to building software.
Our founder, Roel Hellemons, also co-founded Schoonmaakwoede and Schoonmaakunie. We know the industry from the inside: doing the work ourselves, supporting employees, helping clients and making sure commitments are kept on site.
That experience is the foundation of JobLog24. A schedule only helps when the cleaner can act on it. And a well-run organisation starts by listening to the people doing the work every day.
That focus on independence goes back a long way. In 2008, Dutch newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad described how Schoonmaakwoede worked with cleaners who took responsibility for their own work. Read the 2008 article (Dutch PDF) ↗
Why we do this
Supporting cleaners starts with taking their work seriously.
Cleaners make it possible for others to work and live in comfortable surroundings. That takes skill, care and responsibility. We believe they deserve proper support: knowing what is expected, being able to use their experience and being heard when circumstances change.
Room for people to speak up
Missing supplies, extra work or an unsafe situation: the employee often notices first. That knowledge needs to reach the office and inform what happens next.
Independent, with support
Responsibility works when expectations are clear and support is available. Technology should remove unnecessary administration and give people more room for their craft and for one another.
What we build
We put that conviction into everyday work.
JobLog24 connects the office with people on site. In Office, planners organise jobs and review completed work. In the employee app for iOS and Android, staff find job sheets, record their time and share updates and supply requests.
The business gains a clear overview and employees get the information they need to move forward. Future development, including our AI vision, starts with the same question: does this help someone work better and more independently?
